Michael Wright, Owner/Consultant
With over three decades of experience in grant preparation, industry-academic collaboration, and economic development, my proposals have won over $55 million in competitive funding awards since 2004. I've coordinated both the proposal and award stage of prestigious scientific research centers, regional centers of excellence, academic training grants, and workforce development programs. I enjoy helping people with great ideas win competitive federal, state, and foundation funding and mentoring early career grant seekers.
I am also a former economic developer with an MBA and years of experience assisting technology-based businesses, analyzing market opportunities, facilitating industry groups, counseling small business owners, and helping entrepreneurs write business plans.
